Mothers....

“The humblest tasks get beautified if loving hands do them.”
Louisa May Alcott, Little Women

Everything my Mother touched was beautified by her having done so.

She taught me so much.

She was kind and wise and giving.

I can only hope to emulate her.

Gone 12 years now, but forever in my heart.

Happy Mothers Day.

    1. We are Jean, aren't we. Yes she was a beautiful bride. She and her mother made that dress and veil. It was the era of making it yourself. Mimi xxx

    1. Helen, I look at that photo and see a young woman shining with happiness. Alas there was much in her life that did not measure up to her expectations, but she bore her trials with elegance and grace. What a wonderful role model she was for us all. Mimi xxx
