A treat for my granddaughters for when they next visit....
...some scraps of florist wire and foliage left over from making headpieces for the Dance Troupe at school, pearly buttons, tiny scrapbooking rosettes...
...woven and wound together randomly to create a sweet little miniature fairy tiara...
Mr Owl will wear this one until the Fairies come for it...
Mr Owl's tiara is lovely, Mimi. Those fairies will have a hard time extricating this pretty from Mr Owl's clutches.
ReplyDeleteHahaha Kim...yes I think Mr Owl is a bit attached to his wee crown ;-) Mimi xxx
DeleteHow cute, Mimi! I was given a large jar of clear, white, and ivory buttons, and this would be such a lovely way to use some of them. They would also look pretty with long lengths of flowing ribbon tied on to the back.
ReplyDeleteI think your granddaughters are going to love their surprises!
Love, Kelsey
Yes for sure Kelsey. It was such a quick little thing to make, and weaving the florists wire this way and that with no rhyme or reason was actually very soothing. Ribbons on the back would be very sweet! Mimi xxx
DeleteVery cute, Mimi. Your granddaughters will be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteOh yes...fairies are big in our part of the world Chel, so I know they'll be a big hit. Mimi xxx
