Five Star Frou-Frou #30...for the non-crafter in us all...

Easy inexpensive diy gifts and other blogging lies

Jenna wins the prize for the most honest theme this week...lol!

Thel gets a thumbs up from the Ballerina of the house on her garland...she's chosen the last two ballerina themed features...sorry folks...she has an enviable single-mindedness...a little more challenging, but in the end, just shapes cut from paper. Who cares if your ballerinas are more like trapeze artists?

Cone finished

...and just to round out the lineup...I couldn't resist sharing Annes gorgeous little Victoriana cones. With a cheeky aside that I make cheaters ones with upside down party hats *wink*...

Frou-Frou - Noun

Meaning: Frills or other ornamentation

Origin: French, late 19th century

Imitative of the sound of a woman walking in a dress

In my imagination, this linkup is like a weekly gathering of friends, swishing around in stylish dresses and frou-frou. We all love to entertain graciously, live elegantly, dress beautifully, and gift generously, no matter our budget.

Like any regular gathering, we like to make sure we acknowledge newcomers, say hi to old friends, and share our most engaging news. Please do this...it's lovely for us all to have a new friend stop by.

So before we start...

1. Please follow A Tray of Bliss. I am here, on Facebook and Pinterest (as Mimi's Savings Secrets).

2. Please visit new friends, revisit old ones, and leave comments to show your appreciation of their work. We all love that.

3. And in the spirit of giving, can I please ask that you visit other peoples links and comment in appreciation. Thankyou all so much.

The collection has closed. Let other people know about it through twitter.

  2. Jenna's post is so spot on! As an accountant by degree, I will always find myself looking at DIY posts and asking myself how much did it really cost? And I do NOT value my time at $0 per hour, and I sure hope crafters/bloggers don't either. Loved Jo's tussie mussies too. Thanks for hosting us, Mimi. Happy December.
