That beach looks so inviting! The beach is my hubby's and my favourite place to go but it is only available to us in the summertime here. This time of year we dream about it. I don't think we bought anything last time apart from at the German sausages outlet where my son always buys his annual German sausage with sauerkraut for lunch. We didn't stay long as we preferred to walk along the boardwalk and watch the waves. We don't go sight seeing as my idea of a holiday is to just relax and enjoy the ocean and the beautiful sunsets. We just rarely spend money there...lol! And of course OS trips are a different kettle of fish, and one must have that special something to take home, I agree. But when it's just the annual beach holiday, taken at the same place and at the same time each year, one scarcely needs souvenirs ;-) Love Mimi xxxMimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12189100084557458199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7492903313028603031.post-17556887245990604692016-01-18T10:05:41.309+10:002016-01-18T10:05:41.309+10:00Looks like you had a very productive holiday! Bein...Looks like you had a very productive holiday! Being a mixed media artist, I love perusing markets myself. I look for the unusual little piece of textile or lace that when taken home will be turned into something new and I just love checking out art galleries! So much inspiration! And maybe, just maybe we may find just one beautiful object to take home (particularly when traveling OS)to remind us of that wonderful holiday. But when we are holidaying in a place for relaxation, its all about the walks on the beach, playing with my crafts (I have a stash to take away) and read. Having said that, my babies are grown up now with children of their own. So I only have myself to entertain myself and Hubby. :-)Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05383246505358470711noreply@blogger.com
